COME ON OUT OF YOUR CLOSET OF CLOTHES AND WELCOME TO THE WORLD OF SOCIAL NUDITY!
This is the final weekend prior to the official day of Mari Gras, or Carnival Tuesday, the last day of the festival season before Ash Wednesday, or the beginning of the Lenten penitential period on the Western calendar. The last days to party and go wild before the somber and solemn days leading to the Easter Feast.
The days before the culmination of the "carnival" celebrations in many cities around the world are filled with revellers marching in parades and packed into parties, balls and bars in a frantic effort to make the most of the end of a period of wild abandon. Party like there's no tomorrow, men, because Ash Wednesday, for those of the Western Church tradition, waits for no one. Or so the legend goes.
In today's secular-oriented society, much of the religious aspect of carnival or Mardi Gras has lost its significance or disappeared altogether. But that fading away of liturgical custom hasn't deterred the frenzy of the party-goers or the excitement of the celebrations and the parades.
One of the trademarks of Mardi Gras are beads. These colorful (although many use the traditional carnival colors of gold, green and purple) neck ornaments are usually distributed free during parties and parades. Both festive and popular, beads have managed to become a "badge of honor" to party-goers and some collect and wear them as if they were truly expensive pieces of pure gold.
The nude "newbie" may want to consider some creative twists to using these classic accessories when participating in seasonal celebrations. It's too easy to just hang them around the neck and "work-the-room" at a social or bar. Using creative styles, all nudists can design and display their beads that reflects their individual tastes and imagination. After all, that's the purpose of accessories: to accessorize in order to accentuate our positive attributes!
Using the two photos below, get busy and remember the sky is the limit!
Peace! Get naked. Enjoy!
